All 3 brooches are made from a gold toned base metal.
1. The Harlequin clown with plastic tears brooch is in good vintage condition; it is a bit scratched (see pictures). Has a good working clasp and measures 3 inches tall and 1 inch wide.
2. A large gold-toned clown, also with a tear that is in very good vintage condition and a good working clasp; some discoloration around the eyes. It measures 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide.
3. The 3rd clown brooch is a gold-toned and enamel and rhinestone one. The brooch is in very good vintage condition with a good working clasp and measures 2 inches wide 1.75 inches tall.

The shop collects your name, address, and email address as well as a link to your Etsy account through their convo system. We use this information to fulfill your order and ship it out to you. In addition, this contact information will be the system we will use to provide any additional customer support or service. This information is stored for four (4) years. We (the Lazy Y) do not share any of your information with any one or any organization.

I use the term "very good vintage condition" for pieces that are in almost new condition. Yet please remember that these items have mostly been used before; so they will have a few imperfections. Anything that is obvious will be noted in the description and/or pictures.
When the description uses the term "good vintage" condition; it means that it does have some flaws (and should be noted in the description). Less than perfect, but still in good shape.
We do offer refunds, but the item will have to be returned to us before the refund is completed. We do NOT pay for return shipping. Please, let us know if you have any issues, we will be glad to discuss them with you to determine an outcome. No refunds on sale items or items with an incorrect delivery address. We will return all messages within a 24 hour period, but we do strive to reply as quick as possible.
NOTE: Change in policy: The USPS has changed it claims requirement to having to bring in the box and broken piece to the local post office in order to file a claim on this insurance. We apologize for for this, as we know that it is not good service.
The following is the Lazy Y’s new return policy for pieces that arrive broken:
1. Please take pictures of the broken item and the box and packaging and send those to me in a message.
2. I will then file a claim for reimbursement and send you the claim number.
3. I will then ask you to take the broken piece and its packaging to your local post office for their review (remember to bring the claim number with you).
4. Notify me that this step was taken and I’ll issue a refund at that time.
Vintage means an item is at least 20 years old or at the most 99 years old. Once it is 100 years old, you can call it an antique. Please be aware that you are purchasing a used item. We keep trying to improve our descriptions and pictures to point out chips or dents or other issues a piece may have.
Saying that, there may be small vintage wear that go unnoticed. I do go over the piece when I buy it, wash it, take its picture, write its description or weigh it. Yet still, sometimes I miss it. The right light will show scratches on dinner plates for example. One time, you could see a crack in a piece of pottery in the photograph that you could not see when looking at it.

Discounts will take into consideration the cost of the pieces and how many listings are purchased so I cannot offer a blanket percentage. Please message me if you going to purchase more than one listing in these sections.
If an item is on sale, the discount coupons will not be taken into consideration (by the Lazy Y or by the Etsy system).
And, it never hurts to ask what is our best price. Sometimes we have to let things go and sometimes we cannot not go lower.
We do not offer any customer pick up as we are online only.
If you are in a 5 mile radius or so, you can message me about a local drop off. We do charge a $5 delivery fee. Message us before the purchase and we can change the shipping costs to reflect this charge.
If farther than 5 miles, we will considering meeting or a drop off for a fee. That fee will be determined once we know the location. Again, message us with your address and/or zip code and we'll let know if delivery would be available and what the fee would be.
The Lazy Y is not responsible for packages being stolen on doorsteps. We are sorry for this. If the USPS has marked the item as delivered but it has been stolen, the shop cannot reimburse you for the piece. Contact us, and we will consider things on a case by case basis.
If a purchase is made with an incorrect shipping address (either expired forwarding address and/or other reasons) the Lazy Y charges a re-delivery fee. Once the package has been sent back to the shop by the post office, you will be notified to purchase a new shipping label. There are NO refunds on these items. Once the shipping costs are covered; we will ship the package out and notify you. IF you can catch that you forgot to change the delivery address, you can contact me and I can still make the address change before purchasing the shipping label.
